I wanted to share some of my favorite make-up routine products. I do change quite a bit but these have seem to stick for a while. However, not sure I have found the right mascara yet.
These are products not for special events, more for the day-to-day try to look OK for the rest of the world. :-)
This past Christmas my favorite aunt gave me a JCrew sweater. I simply love this sweater (picture below). I do have another sweater from JCrew that I washed and let it dry flat. Well, I thought it was the same type of sweater and so when it was time to wash I repeated the process. Little did I know it was dry clean only. I pretty much ruined the sweater. It lost its shape. I wanted to cry... but my wise mother suggested that I take it to the cleaner and ... IT WAS FIXED! TIP: Remember to look at the label before washing it. But know that it's never too late to take something to the dry cleaners.
In the hunt to conglomerate all the blogs I read in one place I went with Feedly. I am completely in love with it. It's even an add-in on Chrome. It synced with Google Reader so I didn't miss a bit. The app as well as the site are awesome.
I strongly recommend it. And, you will be happy to get the symbol below once you read all your blogs.
I love shopping, but I am what you call a shopper with a conscience. I try not to buy too much and I am always looking for the deal. And, the best part is finding those awesome pieces at Target, Old Navy.... Well, this last splurge (I usually don't spend more than $100) was a must. While I don't usually buy at The Limited. I saw my sister a few days ago wearing the most adorable jacket. To my surprise she got it at The Limited. In which case, I went online to check it out. Well, to my surprise they were running a special (yes!) and went for it. The purchase:
Nice prices right!!! And today...I got the lovely email starting with:
Let's hope it all fits. :-) Any other good deals around you can recommend? With Memorial Day around the corner there has to be something good. Right? Please let me know.
Thank you for taking the time to read this blog. After many attempts to start my own blog either on fitness, design, tips, apps or fashion. I should probably combine them all in one place. SO.... On the train ride came to live. I am calling it "On the train ride" not only because my commute is on an actual train, but we can view our lives as journeys and mine just happen to be on a train. Where is it taking me may actually vary, but lets gives this a try. Fingers cross that you like what I have to say. And.... please leave comments behind so that I know that what's happening on this train ride is helping, inspiring or just plain insight for you. Thanks!!!
